Belfast, July 30th, 2018 – Repstor, the ECM adoption company that helps businesses exploit their ECM investments, has today announced that CALA Homes, a leading upmarket UK homebuilder has deployed Repstor custodian™, a secure case and email management solution for Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft SharePoint, to manage plot file cases across all its regions.

CALA Homes was looking for a solution that would enable its users to share documents in a user-friendly and secure way. Custodian’s ease of configuration and automated SharePoint provisioning out of the box that made it an ideal choice for CALA Homes. Custodian also features a simple API capability, which made it straightforward to integrate the system with CALA Home’s existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for automated plot file creation.

CALA Homes was up and running very quickly with Custodian, which would not have been the case if the company had had to create and integrate a bespoke solution.

“The overriding benefit to the business, its teams and clients is efficiency, which comes from the consistency the software enables, and the rich user experience for email and document management,” explains Andy Murray, CALA Homes’ IT director.

Additional benefits include greater transparency on the location of documents and each stage in their process, as well as increased confidence that document storage and management complies with current and evolving data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Around 200 CALA Homes’ sales people are now using Custodian. The company plans to roll it out across the organisation in due course, following the enthusiastic take up it has had from users, together with its cost efficiency and performance capabilities.
