Repstor Joins Ireland’s Technology Elite on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50

The company’s continued momentum has prompted a new recruitment drive, as its Office 365 for matter management approach attracts high demand

Belfast, October 30th, 2017 – Repstor, the ECM adoption company that helps businesses exploit their SharePoint and Office 365 investments, has made the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for the first time, the company has reported.

Now in their 18th year, the Deloitte Fast 50 awards, rank Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies and recognises indigenous technology companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth in turnover in the last four years. This summer, Repstor announced it was moving its growing operations to the Scottish Provident Building in Belfast city centre following a second consecutive doubling of revenues year on year.

By offering organisations a way to better organise and manage their content using software they already use every day, Repstor has struck a chord with user communities, IT teams and budget controllers. Strong contenders in both the New IT Product of the Year, and Technology Venture of the Year, categories, ES /Unity’s double shortlisting was announced at the London Law Expo on October 10. The winners will be announced at a lavish awards ceremony at Plaisterers’ Hall in the City of London on November 15th.

Judged by an independent panel of experts, the British Legal Technology Awards acknowledge and reward excellence in Legal Technology and IT Security within the UK and European Legal Sectors. July 3rd, 2017 – Repstor, the ECM adoption company that helps businesses exploit their SharePoint and Office 365 investments, is today celebrating its business growth and expansion with an office move to the Scottish Provident Building.

Repstor, which is approaching its financial year-end, has seen a doubling of revenues over the same period last year for the second year running. Leading ECM Adoption specialist, Repstor, today announced that Mourant Ozannes, one of the leading offshore law firms, has selected and is deploying Repstor affinity and assist to facilitate collaboration, sharing and easy filing of email and content into its ECM platform HP® Worksite® for its Hong Kong office.

Mourant Ozannes is one of the leading offshore law firms, advising on the laws of the BVI, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey. Clients include many of the world’s leading financial institutions, public companies, corporations and fund promoters as well as high net worth private clients. The Hong Kong office services clients based in the Asia Pacific region by providing multi-jurisdictional offshore legal advice. The highly rated team consists of partners and senior lawyers with significant experience across the leading offshore jurisdictions. The lawyers in Hong Kong specialize in corporate, finance, investment funds, and international trust work as well as litigation and insolvency matters. This requires the accurate filing of email, matters and other legal content to customer folders so that the team is able to file, access, manage and collaborate around this content while remaining compliant.

HP® WorkSite® is used to store legal documents and other content and to support collaborative working in a compliant way. Mourant Ozannes had previously used HP FileSite® to facilitate filing email while sharing and accessing content from HP Worksite via Outlook. However this was negatively impacting the performance of Outlook which resulted in users being unable to perform crucial tasks. In particular the filing of email content to a large number of folders was extremely slow and cumbersome and there was no effective solution capability for users when working offline.

After looking at various alternatives Mourant Ozannes selected Repstor affinity and assist to replace HP FileSite, enabling email and other content to be quickly and easily filed into HP WorkSite. Repstor affinity was selected based on its ease of use, and true native integration with Microsoft Outlook and HP WorkSite. Functionality highlighted during the Proof of Concept included easy email filing and matter management, high performance and stability, support for search, ease of enterprise-wide deployment and offline working, with user feedback being excellent. Using Repstor affinity and assist, users could file email and other content quickly and easily into HP WorkSite. This could all be achieved without impacting Outlook’s performance.

Tony IMG_6961“Our existing remote office thin client model wasn’t performing to acceptable standards and we needed to make some radical changes to introduce improvement. We decided early on that we needed to move away from a thin client model yet try and retain the centralised Worksite document management system but this simply wasn’t possible until we became aware of Repstor’s products. Testing and piloting of the products has got the remote offices really excited because it has resolved many of the performance issues that they see. It has also provided a level of matter management, product integration, ease of use and performance that we could get nowhere else.  We are so impressed with the Repstor products, and their speed at turning around our feature suggestions, that there is every likelihood that we will roll them out to all remote locations throughout 2015/16,” Tony Le Lerre, Head of Information Services, Mourant Ozannes.
