Known Issue with Recent Office 2016 builds
#13580 Repstor discovered an important issue with a series of Monthly Channel releases of Outlook (Office 365 Only) Release 1806.XXXX. Contact support@repstor.com for more information.
This Microsoft issue causes Outlook to crash on launch after upgrading to Build 1806 and opening any Repstor repository with the preview pane enabled.

Microsoft have resolved this issue in the latest Monthly Channel (Targeted Release) - version 1806 (Build 10228.20051). Please update to this version if you are on the Monthly Channel (Targeted Release).
New Features in 3.7.9
General
#13550 Repstor affinity now supports constraining multiple SharePoint choice fields in the Properties dialog so that the value in one field restricts the available values in a different drop down. The choice in the second field can then constrain a third field etc. The static allowed field combinations are defined in a SharePoint list. Changes to this list will be synchronised and update the constraint rules.
#12714 Added setting to refresh central repositories lists on start up of Outlook, this will detect changes in SharePoint group memberships, and add or remove repositories where appropriate.
#14323 New extension support functions were added that return the number of Pending Items and Sync Errors by repository type and the number of folders within Repstor affinity's folder index.
Repstor affinity for HPE CM
#14345 Repstor for HPE CM now supports calling a soft delete API when deleting documents.
#14195 It is now possible to configure the Repstor for HPE CM to use an additional field to populate the "To" column when syncing email headers.
#14215 Changes were made to Repstor for HPE CM to optimise performance when retrieving the contents of large folders.
#13990 Repstor affinity for HPE CM now supports server side move for CM documents between CM folders preserving the Document Number, version history etc. Moving to and from classifications and favorites is not currently supported and will display an error message.
#14095 By default Repstor for HPE CM uses the Author field to populate the From column in Outlook when syncing email headers as HPE CM typically sets this field to the original From value in the email. To allow for migrated emails which don't have this field set, a custom field can be used to populate the From column.
Repstor affinity for Box
#14193 Repstor for Box was updated to use the "content modified" property for the Received column for documents. This change allows migrated documents to display the original modified date from before the documents were migrated to Box. Emails are unaffected by this change.
Repstor affinity for M-Files
#13938 Repstor affinity for M-Files now supports folders configured to show recent items. A right click on the parent folder will show an M-Files menu and allow selecting one of the sub items through a search dialog.
Bug Fixes in 3.7.9
#14007 An issue was resolved in Repstor for HPE CM which allowed users to attempt to delete and edit finalised records in Repstor. Finalised records will now appear read only in Repstor.
#13661 An issue was resolved which caused M-Files Properties windows to appear behind the Outlook window.
#14205 A rare issue was resolved when saving Excel documents to Repstor which could cause an Unknown Error error to be displayed.
#14311 An error was resolved when using the Unsubscribe option with an on premise Custodian.
#14400 A Repstor affinity issue was resolved when editing documents in certain shared Citrix configurations which prevented the document changes from being uploaded.
New Features in 3.7.8
General
#13923 A new feature in Repstor affinity allows interim versions to be saved to SharePoint and DM while continuing to edit the document in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. When available the new "Save and Sync" and "Publish as Major Version" buttons in Office will save the current document content as an interim version and sync it in the background when available. When clicking Publish as Major Version the user is prompted for a version comment to include. If offline, multiple interim versions can be created with different content and these will be sync'd when the user is online again.
#13941 Repstor affinity will now mark Inbox emails as filed when they were filed by another person and downloaded as a header by the current person. This feature is supported for SharePoint and DM repositories and requires an additional messageid field to be created in the target server.
#13369 Changes to matter names in Custodian will now be reflected in Repstor affinity without requiring the matter to be re-pinned.
#14002 Repstor affinity can now be configured so that Edit Document for modern Office formats in SharePoint are launched in Co-Authoring mode rather than a local edit to be sync'd.
Note that Co-Authored documents will require a folder sync, before the new contents are reflected in Repstor affinity. Documents Opened in Co-Authoring mode will not present the Repstor 'edit' buttons, such as "Publish as New Major Version", or "Send Document Link". Only 'modern' Office documents support Co-Authoring mode. Older document formats, such as .doc, or .xls, will continue to open in Repstor affinity's standard Edit mode instead.
#14109 By default Repstor affinity will now for better performance limit luggage tag processing of new Inbox emails to the primary Exchange mailbox.
#13942 The Repstor affinity "Download full items" button / menu can now be limited to number of recent items in the folder. A warning message that allows users to cancel the action can also be configured when this option is used.
#13929 Recent documents that have changed location or had their repository re-added can now be tracked by document ID so that they will now reappear in the Recent Documents search folder. The number of recent documents that will be tracked in this way is limited to 100 by default. This limit does not affect the number of documents that can appear in the Recent Documents search folder.
#13803 Quick File Online and Document searches in the Quick File dialog the time before running the search is now configurable. Using the enter key will run the search immediately.
#13962 When filing items with Quick File Online the parent folders that the temporary repositories are created under can now be configured. Set the ROAM.QuickFileOnlineParentFolders string to define one or more parent folders. By default these repositories are created under an "Uploading" parent folder.
#13916 When using the Make Available Offline menu option, a custom warning can be displayed to inform users of the consequences of this action. When a custom warning is displayed the user must click "I Agree" to continue.

An example warning in the AvailableOfflineWarningMessage registry setting: "You have opted to download a large number of files.\nPlease note that you are responsible for any documents that you have chosen to download.\nIf you agree to this, press 'I Agree' to proceed".
#13551 Repstor affinity now supports Quick Filing an email with attachments to the same SharePoint location as the email without attachments and the independent attachment documents. Two properties tie these independent SharePoint items together each item gets a "registration number" guid and each has a "parent registration number" which is the registration number of the parent email msg file.
#14103 Repstor affinity can now be configured to prevent filing of encrypted messages.
Doc ID Searches
#13918 Repstor Doc Id Search repositories can now be configured so that repositories that haven't been used recently are automatically removed when closing Outlook. A setting indicates the maximum number of Doc Id search repositories to keep.
#13993 Doc ID Searches can now be given the name of the document that is found by the search. This change will take effect for any new Doc ID searches, and can be configured through the DocIdSearch.NameFormat registry setting. use the tag #docname# to substitute the document's name (on top of the existing #docid# for the document's ID).
#13953 The "DocID Search" button text can be customised using the ROAM.DocIdSearchLabel (string) setting.
Repstor affinity for DM
#13552 In Repstor affinity for eDOCS an existing eDOCS file can now be copied to a new eDOCS folder which will add a shortcut to the existing item in the second location.
Repstor affinity for M-Files
#13938 Repstor affinity for M-Files now supports folders configured to show recent items. A right click on the parent folder will show an M-Files menu and allow selecting one of the sub items through a search dialog.
Extensions
#14033 A new extension is provided which runs just after an item has been uploaded to a repository. By default this runs only when the item is a document, and is being filed to an unpinned repository. See extensibility guide for more information.
#14035 A new extension support function has been added to allow you to list a document id in the recent documents list. This will mean future synchronizations of that document will automatically add it to the recent documents search folder.
Bug Fixes in 3.7.8

#13667 An issue was resolved in Repstor affinity for M-Files which caused Save As New Repstor affinity document to fail.
#14104 An issue for Repstor affinity for MFiles was resolved which caused filed items with required metadata to be applied through the metadata card, Repstor affinity would leave the item checked out.
New Features in 3.7.7
General
#12918 Repstor affinity now provides a Property Search dialog to do targeted searching for documents and emails against SharePoint property values. When a set of SharePoint fields to search against are configured the new opens appear when viewing a Repstor affinity folder.

The Property Search dialog will present the available fields for the current folder in the requested order. After supplying values the current folders items can be restricted to those with matching properties. When searching the results can be limited to the current folder or can include items in sub folders also.

When viewing a set of filtered results Property Search buttons are available to reopen the previous dialog to amend the criteria or reset the search to go back to the original folder view.

The Property Search dialog is especially useful when the standard Outlook search is not available to search Repstor affinity for example in certain Citrix environments. It can also be useful to provide a quick way to filter items by a limited set of key SharePoint fields even when the Outlook search option is available.
#13540 Repstor affinity can now be configured to prompt for additional property fields when Quick Filing.
An extension must be provided to give the extra properties and to allow them to be stored. See Repstor extensibility guide for more details.
#13563 Repstor affinity now includes a new option when saving documents to SharePoint or eDOCS folders in Repstor affinity from Word that will populate a DocId value in the documents header or footer.

When enabled the new document will be synchronised skipping some of the usual syncing operations to add it to the server while the document is still being edited. Once a DocId has been obtained the value will be set on the Word document's Title property and any Title fields in the header or footer will be automatically updated.

Repstor will aim to make the method of syncing this DocId value more flexible in the future.
#13727 Repstor affinity's incremental search option has been changed to avoid increasing gaps between syncs during non-office hours - this is controlled by configuration.
#13728 Repstor affinity now includes a way to include a random element to the time between synchronisations to avoid spikes in syncs activity for large sets of folders or Repstor affinity users.
By default the time between background syncs is one hour per folder. Enabling this configuration adds a random time up to 25% of the hour between sync.
Custodian
#13558 The term used for removing a Custodian matter from Repstor affinity can be customised now. For example to 'Unpin' or 'Remove' instead of the default 'Unsubscribe'.
#13559 For custodian hierarchies, there is now an option to show the whole file. i.e. allow users to get a complete view of the documents in the entire matter or project etc. This will provide a right click menu Show Whole File which when selected will show all the documents for the workspace in a single list.
eDOCS
#13552 In Repstor affinity for eDOCS an existing eDOCS file can now be copied to a new eDOCS folder which will add a shortcut to the existing item in the second location.
#13554 With Repstor affinity for eDOCS, opening an eDOCS DRF file will now sync the document and automatically open it for editing once the file has been synced. It will be opened for viewing if the person doesn't have edit permission on the document.
#13562 Repstor affinity for eDOCS now includes an option to view the History of eDOCS documents via the eDOCS context menu.
#13713 In Repstor for eDOCS documents can be removed from eDOCS DM folders by right clicking on the document and choosing "Delete From Folder".
#13566 With Repstor affinity for eDOCS a "Folder Properties" menu item now appears in the Repstor Affinity context menu to allow you to change the folder name/client/matter id etc.
#13567 Repstor affinity for eDOCS now has configuration to match custom matter ids which don't fit the usual pattern. eg 1.1 or New.New.
Misc

#13490 When using Repstor affinity with M-Files vault, if email fields are configured, Repstor affinity will map email fields to the appropriate M-Files fields. Repstor will also default to the M-Files email class if it is configured.
Bug Fixes in 3.7.7
#12104 An issue was resolved with Repstor CRM which caused replies to tracked emails to also appear as tracked automatically.
#13711 Double clicking a Repstor affinity document will now open the document for viewing if the person doesn't have permission to edit it.
#13755 An issue was resolved when Repstor affinity was configured to auto file replies to tagged emails and the setting to not prompt when an email contains a luggage tag which caused no prompts to be shown for any email replies.

#13157 Repstor affinity now includes a new Make Available Offline dialog to ensure a section of Repstor affinity is up to date and all headers have been downloaded. Selecting a folder and opening the dialog provides an option to keep the content available for the next 7 days by default. Within the time period all syncs will be as full downloads rather than headers and expiry will not apply to this section of Repstor affinity.
Once the time period has been exceeded future syncs will use the normal header setting and expiry will apply to the section.

Note this feature requires a change to the HPE CM Service API configuration to prevent some data from being blocked. Contact support for steps to enable email metadata capture to CM.
#12965 When adding HPE CM repositories by searching a search scope they will now default to the short classification name instead of the classification title which can be much longer.
Bug Fixes in 3.7.6
Office integration

#12690 Repstor affinity sections and tabs within the File menu in Office 2010+ applications are now hidden when the ROAM.SaveAsRepstorButton setting is disabled.
Quick File

#13332 Fixed incompatibility with old Custodian versions that would cause repositories to appear and disappear.
#13422 Repstor affinity for eDOCS will now default to retrieving the first 2500 results for a matter search. This is to avoid stability issues when retrieving very large numbers of results.
New Features in 3.7.5
Quick File Document Searching / DocId
#12635 Within the QuickFile dialogs when attaching items to an outgoing message, filing an incoming attachment, or opening or saving a document within an Office application, it is now possible to search for a document using the document title, last editor, or document id. A new dropdown will appear in the dialog to allow "Searching for Documents". The field that appears can be searched using free text values (for document id, file name or modifying user) - you can also search specific fields with the appropriate prefix - from:<from user> for modifying user, docid:<docid> for the document id. Document ID property defaults to Document ID Value, but can be configured through the string property DocIdProperty.
#12636 Repstor affinity now provides a right click option to compare the currently selected document with another in Repstor affinity. The second document is found via the Quick File based browse dialog which can also find documents by their properties such as filename or DocId.
#12603 When using Quick File to view the contents of folder custom columns can be added to the contents view such as DocId. Contact support for steps to configure these custom columns.

#12933 Repstor affinity now provides a right click menu option to copy a Document Id to the clipboard. A Document Id has to be present on the selected document - the default document id property is "Document ID Value" which is present for Document Ids on SharePoint. It will be necessary to use an extension to copy Document Ids for other repository types. The property can be changed by configuring DocIdProperty to the name of the property.
#12628 It is now possible through configuration to append the Document Id to the title of a document link. Create a DWORD ROAM.AppendDocIdToLinkName to 1 to enable.
Custom Views
#12608 Repstor affinity can now be configured to automatically create named custom views in Outlook. The views can have specific columns displayed, columns can be renamed and custom grouping / sorting can be automatically configured.
Repstor affinity can also be configured to automatically apply a named Outlook view when it first syncs based on the name of the folder or search folder using regular expressions. A default view can be configured if no regular expression matches the folder name.
These two features can be used together or independently eg the standard SharePoint view syncing could be used with configuration to automatically apply different SharePoint views based on the folders name.
#12799 Repstor affinity can be configured to automatically display SharePoint email metadata such as To, From, CC, and From as Outlook displays this information in the users mailbox rather than the full captured values in SharePoint. Create a DWORD SharePointSync.DecodeRecipientValues = 1 to enable this feature.
Performance
#12901 This version changes the handling of the FiledMessagesShowOthers setting. Now affinity will only mark items that have been received within a certain number of days - configurable by the MarkFiledItemsByOthersDays (DWORD) which defaults to 60. Others emails received within this number of days will be marked as filed. This avoids issues on initial download, where a huge backlog of items for marking is set.
#12607 When "headers, then full items" is used as a download mechanism, it is now possible to configure a number of days where the full items will be queued and downloaded. When downloading, the received date / modified date of items will be used to determine whether an item falls within this set of days or not. Create a DWORD FullItemDownloadDays to set the number of days.
#12843 There is now a configuration setting to allow the explicit setting of header settings based on a new repositories name or folder name. ROAM.FolderHeaderSettings has the format <folder regex>=<header download type> |<folder regex2>=<header download type>
Full Items = 1,
Headers Only = 2,
Headers then full items = 3,
Inherited (from repository or options) = 4,
No Downloads= 5,
Online =6,
Headers (and single folder only) = 7

An example of the folder regex could just be the name of a matching folder "archive folder"

eDocs Enhancements
#12610 Repstor affinity for eDocs will now limit duplicate detection to the current matter when adding items to a matter. This allows items to be copied between matters such as template documents. Items added to a search folder will be detected as duplicates if they exist anywhere in the same library.
#12841 Repstor affinity now supports copy link for edocs filter. Copy link will provide a pcdocs:// formatted link
#12368 Repstor affinity for eDocs will handle DRF reference files so that when they are opened the documents are displayed within Repstor affinity. This feature is available for DRF references pointing to any version or the latest version. Other DRF references will continue to be handled by eDocs directly.
#12777 When setting up a Search Scope for eDOCS you can now use {PRIMARYLIB} instead of an actual library name.
Misc
#12681 Added the option to use email content types even when they are hidden in SharePoint. This allows email files to be assigned the correct content type without making it visible to users.
#12162 Repstor assist will now automatically generate categorisation rules the first time without requiring the user to manually start the first training process.
#13017 When using Repstor affinity to Quick File to an online location and Quick File was configured to display extra columns SharePoint document library results don't have custom properties and so the extra columns are blank. Now a regular expression (ROAM.SPSSearchExtraColumnsMissingPattern) can be used to populate the missing values if they are included in the locations URL. eg "Clients/(\w+)/(\d+)" would extract ACME and 1234 from the location http://server/site/Clients/ACME/1234/.
#13007 When using Repstor affinity to Quick File to an online location an option is now available to disable the general Query Text clause and instead pass the users search text to a custom content class filter clause. This can be useful when Quick File online needs to restrict the use of the search text to very specific properties. Contact support for more details.
Bug Fixes in 3.7.5
#12761 Improvements were made when syncing SharePoint repositories that exceed the list view threshold with other header status settings.
#12098 When a document from one Custodian matter is edited and then saved to another Custodian matter the new document will use the new locations default metadata.
#12164 An issue was resolved which prevented the Quick File drop down from being changed to Copy or Move if syncing a large set of folders in the background.
#12195 A Repstor for CRM issue was resolved which prevented emails from being sent after being selected in the Outbox.
#12568 An issue was resolved that could cause an Office application to report a permission error when editing a Repstor affinity document and the document was closed.

#12716 When using Repstor affinity for eDOCS to add a document to a search folder that does not match the doc added (e.g. adding a non pleadings document to a pleadings search folder) the document is now immediately removed from the search folder after it is uploaded to the server. It will be accessible through any matter search that matches the added doc e.g Whole File (All).

If the luggage tag location does not exist, or has not been subscribed to, the user will be prompted for a location. A new configuration setting "NoSendAndFilePromptIfLuggageTagFolderNotFound" stops the prompt if the location is not subscribed to by the user.
#12374 Repstor affinity can now be configured to display additional information in the filename when viewing or editing documents. Also when comparing with previous eDocs versions the version number is now shown on the latest version. To enable support configure a suitable property for the repository type. eg

HPRMSync.PrefixToLoginName - if set will be prefixed to any assignee values e.g. "domainname\".
HPRMSync.DefaultAssigneeToLoginName(DWORD) - if set to 1 then on adding a new item the assignee value will default to the current users login name without the domain prefix.
#12509 Repstor affinity now supports adding a repository which syncs a specific eDocs document. This functionality is used as part of the new DocId Search feature available for eDocs and SharePoint.
#12371 Sending a link to an eDOCS file from a search folder will now send a drf file that links to the selected file.
Bug Fixes in 3.7.4
#12348 Improvements have been made to central repository list (Custodian) subscribe and unsubscribe performance. Performance will be improved for repository locations which are adding groups of locations (e.g. SharePoint sites).
Set RecheckSiteContentsForCRL to 0 to configure this setting. If you set this setting, after the initial synchronization of a location group - if a new item is added to the group it will not automatically appear. For example, adding a new document library to a sharepoint site - that document library would not show up for users who had the site already subscribed. They could pin and re-pin if the site was driven by custodian.
#12585 An issue was resolved which prevented Send and File from working with secondary Exchange mailboxes with the default Repstor affinity configuration.
#7499 All the standard Respond group actions (Forward, Reply etc) are now available when selecting an email in Repstor or opening it in a new window or when selecting a Repstor affinity document.

#12693 Previously when updating an existing document (through Quick File Attachments, Save as New Repstor document, or other mechanisms), a check was not made on whether the document was changed in the repository, or whether the documents were already checked out by other users. Now an error will be displayed in these cases.
#12375 An issue was resolved when forwarding Repstor affinity documents that caused the From field in the draft to be incorrectly populated from the From value on the original Repstor affinity document.
#12479 Editing an existing document in HPE CM will no longer result in an incorrect error message being displayed.
#12514 When using Repstor affinity to add a new HPE CM document with invalid metadata the document will no longer be added multiple times.

#12118 An issue was resolved which prevented Repstor affinity documents with uppercase extensions from being previewed correctly in the reading pane.
#12428 An issue was resolved which in rare cases could prevent a recently uploaded item's Properties from being viewed.

Outstanding Issues
Impact: Medium
#12695 To use Repstor affinity's feature to mark emails as filed with a category with Outlook Shared Mailboxes the Outlook setting "Download Shared Folders" must be disabled in the Exchange account's Advanced tab under Cached Exchange Mode settings.
SYN-15 The conflict messages report SharePoint's internal version numbers when used with SharePoint document libraries which have Checkout required or major/minor versioning enabled. These differ from the user displayed version numbers in SharePoint.
SYN-340 When custom lists are synchronized with Rich Text Fields and are displayed in the preview pane, Outlook will move the focus to the rich text field.  This stops up/down arrows from working in the Outlook list view.
SYN-595 If a large number of items exist within Repstor, or within other message stores, the Outlook "Show In Conversations" can affect overall Outlook performance.  This can be avoided by switching off the feature, or setting it to not show messages from other folders.
SYN-819 Repstor can appear to hang if while uploading a large number of documents, you remove a different repository.
SYN-939 In Outlook 2007 command bar buttons that are too large to be accommodated on the main toolbar can become unclickable.  This can be resolved by customizing the command bar and repositioning the buttons.
SYN-954 Repstor does not currently support SharePoint standard forms authentication. ADFS authentication is supported.
SYN-962 The "Tell me More" links within the Repstor ribbon will display help for Lync.   This is a Microsoft issue.  The ribbon help should link to information on addins, but has been replaced by the Lync addin.   We may workaround this issue in future releases.
SYN-1627 On Windows 10 the text in some Repstor notification messages may be truncated.
SYN-1687 Repstor Drive supports a limited set of characters for the names of Repstor affinity folders and documents. Names containing % will fail to be displayed correctly in Repstor Drive and will not be accessible. If the server repository supports other invisible characters (eg tab, bell, new line) in the filename metadata field these items may also not be accessible in Repstor Drive.

Functionality for names containing the following characters will be limited / \ : * ? " < > | { } # &. The limited items will fail if copy, move, renamed or added via Drive. However existing items in Repstor affinity with this set of characters can be browsed to and edited.

SYN-1700 Copies of documents made in the same site will always be the latest version of their source document.  If the source document is modified before the copy is synched to the server the modified document may be used for the copy instead of the version of the document when the copy was made.  To avoid issues, allow the sync to occur before editing the source or destination document. If the copied document is edited before it is synchronized to the server then the edited document will be uploaded and not the original copy or updated source.
SYN-1701 If a document set is configured with shared properties, these properties will be inherited onto contained documents.  Currently affinity is not aware of these defaults, so will prompt for missing required properties that would be inherited.  However, the correct values are set after a synchronization.  To avoid this issue, don't make properties to be inherited from document sets mandatory.
SYN-1768 Repstor assist extracts text from PDF files using the locally configured third party component. With some Windows 8 or later 64 bit configurations certain PDF files can cause this training process to hang. To resolve this issue install the most recent Adobe IFilter 64 bit component. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5542
SYN-1983 An issue with Repstor Drive can cause Word, Excel and PowerPoint to stop responding if the user has previously browsed a SharePoint location in the Save As dialog and then navigates to the "Repstor affinity" network place shortcut in an Office Save As dialog. This appears to be an issue with Microsoft Office.

To workaround the issue avoid browsing SharePoint locations when using Repstor Drive or alternatively access Repstor Drive locations via the Other Web Locations section of the Save As page. Contact support@repstor.com for more information.
SYN-2097 Repstor's HPRM plugin uses the HPRM ServiceAPI to sync the document and emails. When document content is requested via the ServiceAPI and specific errors occur it can return a success status code but the content returned is the error details. See the Repstor HPRM plugin install documentation for steps to ensure that these errors are not processed as the document content.
SYN-2392 When Quick Filing Attachments to a folder with a required field will only show the Properties for the last attachment to fill in the missing value. As a workaround when filing attachments if you choose to "Don't prompt to rename the existing items" the Properties for all items will be displayed.
Impact: Low
SYN-1940 An issue in Outlook 2013 can cause older Repstor affinity documents and emails to be hidden when the SyncWindowSetting Outlook Group Policy setting is enabled. This issue was resolved in Outlook 2016.
SYN-1909 If you have very many terms in a term set there can be a long delay when editing a SharePoint Managed Metadata property from the TermSet picker.
SYN-1893 Converting a Repstor Word document to PDF will fail if the document contains Personally Identifable Information which Repstor affinity can't remove.
SYN-1819 For custodian installations when items are copied from one matter to another, the default properties are picked up from the new matter.  However, if the matters are in the same site, and server-side copy is configured - the old properties will keep their previous matter values.
SYN-1805 In HPRM,  If a record type is configured with additional fields, these fields will appear, but have no value is configured in the list or properties pages.   A future release will allow these fields to be displayed.
SYN-1749 Repstor affinity uses Outlook APIs to save emails as .msg files before upload. These Outlook APIs can fail to save specific large emails with many embedded attached emails. Contact support for steps to workaround the issue.
SYN-1727 Repstor Drive is prevented from accessing files larger than 50MB by default based on a Windows Explorer configuration setting. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2668751 for information on how to increase this limit.
SYN-1699 Copying and moving items within and between repositories will under certain circumstances not prompt for required properties.   Any missing properties can be set after the copy.
SYN-1698 When a file share folder is renamed, syncing lower folders will fail until the rename is synced to the file share server. The rename will be propagated when the renamed folder's parent is synced.
SYN-1693 Repstor Drive includes a new mechanism for more efficient folder copies and deletions. On 64 bit Windows these Drive folder operations are supported within 64 bit applications like Windows Explorer but not within 32 bit applications.
SYN-1653 When adding a SharePoint list or document library the current user needs access to the location and also read access to the parent Team Site.
SYN-1640 If copying document headers to a Repstor folder in Outlook or via Repstor Drive and server side copies aren't possible Repstor affinity will try to download the headers during the copy operation. If the headers can't be downloaded within a short time the copy operation will fail.
SYN-1639 If a newly created repository folder hasn't synced and is copied to another repository folder a server side folder copy will not be done.
SYN-1638 If Repstor Drive is used to copy Repstor affinity parent folders into a Repstor affinity repository server side copies of the underlying folders and documents will not be done.
SYN-1637 If an expired folder is copied and server side copies are not available only the folder structure will be copied. If server side copies are available Repstor affinity will attempt to copy the expired documents on the server.
SYN-1636 Dragging a folder in Outlook to a specific position higher in the folder view using the horizontal bar to position it will cause a folder with the same name to appear in the moved to folder. This drag and drop issue in Outlook causes the new folder to fail to display its contents. Restart Outlook to remove the new broken folder.
SYN-1634 If Repstor affinity has deep folder hierarchies "Open in Explorer" will fail to open the folder in Windows Explorer via Repstor Drive. This problem can be avoided by adding the repository at a lower path in the folder structure.
SYN-1550 Copying a document between two folders in Repstor Drive currently doesn't support renaming the document at the same time.
SYN-1502 In Outlook 2016 the email preview's toolbar doesn't contain additional Repstor affinity items such as Properties.
SYN-1459 The new SharePoint field for selecting people and groups doesn't currently restrict the suggestions to a named group if one is assigned.
SYN-1444 The new SharePoint person and group field currently only suggests uniquely named accounts. If there are multiple users or groups with the same display name it will not be possible to select each of them.
SYN-1439 In Repstor affinity SharePoint Enterprise Keywords are displayed as read only properties.
SYN-1425 When a SharePoint list item is selected Send Link and Copy Link do not generate the correct links.
SYN-1424 Email and documents can be added to the top level Repstor affinity folder however these items are not synchronized.
SYN-1405 When working with documents via Repstor Drive Windows Explorer can display unhelpful messages. More useful messages will be displayed when possible depending on the operation.
SYN-1391 SharePoint terms created in Repstor are not displayed in other locations until an item with the new term as a property value has been synced.
SYN-1390 When adding new terms to a SharePoint open termset, the new term can only be added under an already synced term. This prevents term hierarchies from being created quickly in Repstor.
SYN-1354 Due to a limitation in the WorkSite SDK it is possible for multiple updates on a document within a second to appear as a single change. Although this is unlikely it could lead to the local WorkSite document being out of date.
SYN-1334 It is not currently possible to rename SharePoint list items within Repstor Drive.
SYN-1269 When synchronizing SharePoint documents and emails they are the items which match the default view's filter criteria.
SYN-1231 SharePoint document shortcuts are not currently supported.
SYN-1230 Viewing SharePoint 2013 / SharePoint online record shortcuts requires the Open in Client setting is enabled on the document library.
SYN-1226 After activating a license Outlook must be restarted to enable some Repstor functionality.
SYN-1167 Currently it is not possible to add SharePoint document library folders which have a "." character in their name as a top level repository in Repstor.
SYN-1158 Connect to Outlook fails to add SharePoint Calendars via the standard Outlook functionality.
SYN-1138 To add SharePoint repositories the user requires these permission levels at the Team Site and Document Library or List level.

Use Remote Interfaces  -  Use SOAP, Web DAV, the Client Object Model or SharePoint Designer interfaces to access the Web site.

Use Client Integration Features  -  Use features which launch client applications. Without this permission, users will have to work on documents locally and upload their changes.
SYN-1130 When saving as a new Repstor affinity document the name of the file is incorrectly shown as the original file name in Word
SYN-1109 If the Signals add in is being used it will prevent presentation of metadata forms and will impact certain Repstor actions such as preventing saving using Quick File from Word or presentation of metadata forms when mandatory fields are not completed
SYN-1105 When copying folders in Repstor if server side copies are not available only the currently synchronized sub folders and documents will be copied to the new location.
SYN-1035 Saving a document from Word to an existing Repstor folder which contains a document of the same name will fail if the document in Repstor is currently synchronized as a header.
SYN-1029 WorkSite documents that are declared as records will not be deleted by Repstor.  The documents will appear to be deleted, but in the next synchronization will reappear.
SYN-1004 Adding a new column to a SharePoint view can take a long time to synchronize with the Repstor affinity view.   Resynchronizing the entire repository can resolve this issue.
SYN-971 If a batch of items is downloaded, but the synchronization is requeued to get the next batch, the status within the folder synchronization can indicate download is complete.  It does not show the fact that further downloads are queued.
